Club Membership

If you would like to become a member of Kirkcudbright Country Curling Club, then please get in touch through our contact page. We will give you a friendly welcome whether you are an experienced player or someone who simply wants to give the game a try.

Club membership is £5.00 per annum (plus the Scottish Curling subscription when this has not already been paid via another club).

Benefits of Membership
Access to all the internal Club competitions as a member of a Club Rink:

• The Club has internal rinks that participate in three internal Club Competitions. As a full Member you would be a full-time member of one of the eight Club Rinks or elect to be an Occasional Curler 
   

Membership of Scottish Curling

• Liability Insurance: Combined Liability / Limits of Indemnity - in relation to Curling

  • Public / Products Liability: £5,000,000 any one occurrence

  • Professional Indemnity: £5,000,000 any one occurrence

  • Directors & Officers Liability: £5,000,000 any one period

  • Abuse:£2,500,000 any one period

  • Employers’ Liability: £10,000,000 any one occurrence.

• A Membership Card.

• Access to the Scottish Curling Online Portal.

• Monthly E-Bulletin.

• Access to 40 Championships and local competitions.

• The chance to go on Friendship Tours organised by Scottish Curling.

• Most Importantly for Kirkcudbright Members – Scottish Curling supports our Training Programme.

 

Access to curling with the Club's external competitions.

• The Club participates in four external League Competitions, at Club and County level.

• The Club participates in various external Cup Competitions, at Club and County level.
